Life’s lessons: Honesty is the best policy

Work with honesty and sincerity because laziness will ruin you.

migrator

Chennai

Bhola owned a donkey called Khandya. Bhola was a tolerant and kind master while Khandya was lazy and always tried to avoid work. Once while returning with loads of salt on his back, Khandya fell in the river. He realises that the fall had reduced the weight of the sacks as the salt has dissolved in the water.

For the next few days, Khandya willingly fell into the water. Unhappy at Khandya’s behaviour, he decides to teach Khandya a lesson. The next day, instead of salt bags, he loaded Khandya with bags of cotton. Khandya was unaware of the change. As planned, he fell into the water and the bags got wet. He was surprised to find the load unbearable. He was also beaten by his master for getting slow due to the heavy weight.

Moral: Work with honesty and sincerity because laziness will ruin you.
