The tweet read, “I see the media is working overtime speculating where I am & what I’m doing. Rest assured, I’m here at the @WhiteHouse w my family, feeling great, & working hard on behalf of children & the American people!” Twitter broke out with posts saying that it’s just a tweet and they didn’t actually see the first lady, and her tweet sounded more like President Trump. People also tried decoding her tweets as a cry for help.

Philippine Prez kisses on stage, sparks outrage on social media

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte drew criticism for kissing an overseas Filipina worker on live television. The incident occurred during a meeting with the Filipino community in Seoul while he was on an official visit to South Korea. The President invited two women on stage to receive a free copy of a book on alleged corruption in the Catholic Church in the Philippines. He hugged the first woman and gave her a kiss on the cheek before gesturing to the second woman to kiss him on the mouth. The kiss caused outrage on social media, with horrified observers describing it as “disgusting”, “gross” and “cringeworthy.”
