Thirsty monkey closes tap after use, teaches humans a lesson in conserving water amid crisis

It is 2019, the year which has been notoriously for its water crisis as drought situations hit various pockets around the country. Though India received mild showers in several places, water woes continue to remain a big problem in the country. Amid this, a video of a monkey closing the tap after quenching its thirst has gone viral, with many netizens appreciating what the monkey has done, that many humans fail to do. The video shows a monkey quenching its thirst from a tap and diligently closing it later. This act indeed teaches all of us a lesson. The video was posted by Dr SY Quraishi, the former Chief Election Commissioner of India and has garnered as many as 69,000 views.

Known as ‘Dada’ by fans, Sourav Ganguly has been a prolific batsman and one of the most successful captains to lead the Indian cricket team. In the latest, the cricketer has been paid tribute by a bar in Australia which has named a beer after him, calling it ‘Feral “Ganguly” Mango Lassi’. A Twitter user celebrated the drink by posting a caption that said, “I always thought they didn’t like @SGanguly99 much here in Australia. But they instead have paid him the highest Aussie honour possible by naming a beer after him & even marking it as a smooth “hopetator” Must have been all those hugs to Pontin.” 

Drunk man tries to ride giraffe in Kazakh zoo, gets tossed twice

While animals in zoos to face the plight of cruel human behaviour, one giraffe has been able to teach a lesson to a drunken man who climbed the fence and attempted to ride the giraffe. The incident which has been recorded and shared on an Instagram page called Turkestan Today, happened at Shymkent Zoo in Kazakhstan and shows an allegedly drunken man attempting to sit on the giraffe and take it for a ride. The video shows the man trying to clamber onto the wild animal. Though the animal seems unafraid at first, it soon tosses him to the ground. The video records to his second attempt to climb onto the tall animal, which again tosses him to the ground. In the last few seconds of the video, the man is seen scrambling over the fence to exit the enclosure.
