The makers of Vijay’s upcoming film put an end to speculations surrounding the title and the first of look of the film by announcing the title as Sarkar. Apart from that, the first look has been released in a transparent-picture mode, which has the background of a city and Vijay himself is seen dressed in a jacket and white t-shirt for the film. 

Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sarkar is expected to be a film with social messages like Vijay-Murugadoss’ previous collaboration Kaththi. 

Talking at the release event, Murugadoss said that like their previous collaborations Thuppaki and Kaththi, Sarkar will also offer something new and better to the audience. 

Produced by Sun Pictures, the film has Keerthy Suresh playing the heroine and has Radharavi and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in important roles. The music is composed by Mozart of Madras AR Rahman. Sarkar will release along with Suriya’s NGK for Deepavali and is expected to lock horns with Ajith’s Viswasam and Vikram’s Dhruva Natchathiram. The second look was released at midnight.
