The Minister’s husband and former Governor of Mizoram, Swaraj Kaushal, was asked by a random stranger on twitter how much his wife makes! But instead of ignoring the tweet, Swaraj Kaushal decided to have some fun with it and responded, “Dekho - Meri umar aur Madam ki tankhah nahin poochho. These are bad manners. 

Arre chanda lena ho to seedha maang lo. Tankhah kyon poochhte ho. (Don’t ask my age and Madam’s salary. These are bad manners. 

If you want to borrow money, just ask that directly. Why do you want to know the salary?)” The answer won the internet and is now going viral. Swaraj Kaushal is known for his witty comebacks. 

Earlier, someone had asked him why he was following Sushma Swaraj on Twitter, but she wasn’t. He had responded, “I have followed her for 45 years – Can’t change things now.”
