Raghava Lawrence in Chandramukhi 2, donates Rs 3 crore for Corona funds from his advance salary

Raghava Lawrence announced that he will be playing the main lead in the Part 2 of Superstar Rajinikanth's 2005 blockbuster 'Chandramukhi'.

Actor-director Raghava Lawrence recently made a massive announcement regarding his upcoming project in Kollywood. The actor took to his official Twitter handle to announce that, he will be playing the main lead in the Part 2 of Superstar Rajinikanth's 2005 blockbuster 'Chandramukhi'. The movie will be directed by P Vasu and produced by Sun Pictures. 

Raghava Lawrence also announced about his donation for COVID-19 funds. He has donated a whopping amount of Rs 3 crore for the Corona funds, from the advance salary he had received for 'Chandramukhi 2'.

In his Twitter post, the actor wrote, "50 lakhs to the PM - CARES fund, 50 Lakhs to CM relief Fund (Tamil Nadu), 50 lakhs for fefsi union and I want to extend my special contribution of 50 lakhs for my dancer’s union and 25 lakhs for my physical abled boys and 75 lakhs for daily labour’s and for people from my birth place Royapuram, desiyanagar. All food essentials will be delivered with the help of police with proper safety. Service is god (sic)." 

So far, K-town actors like Rajinikanth, Ajith Kumar, Sivakarthikeyan, Vijaysethupathi, Surya-Sivakumar family, Yogi Babu have donated for the Coronavirus funds.
