Musical treat to remember

The audio launch of the Hollywood feature film, Lake of Fire, directed by Raj Thiruselvan was recently held in the city. Music maestro AR Rahman graced the occasion.

Qutub-E-Kirpaa, an ensemble of student musicians from Rahman’s KM Music Conservatory, headed by the Oscar winner’s sister Isshrath Quadhre, has composed music for the film. 

The students also treated the audience to a live performance after the launch making it a memorable experience for the crowd that gave a thumb’s up to their act. Adam Greig, the academic coordinator of the institute, and music director James Vasanthan were also present at the gala evening.
