What appeals to you the most about mentalism?

Mind-reading can be a serious business, but for me, it’s fun and sharing happiness with others. Be it finding out someone’s ATM pin or a mobile password or someone’s first crush’s name, it is all about fun and entertainment. The main idea is to spread positivity. I try to relieve people of their stress with my acts.

What is the biggest challenge?

Dealing with a few nutjobs. Sometimes, it so happens that people end up asking about their future — if their marriage is on the cards, if they would get a business deal signed and the like. I am not an astrologer. I am only an entertainer.

Has an act gone wrong?

Yes. It happens only when the other person doesn’t cooperate. I simply move on from it to the next act. People need to understand that mentalism is not about magic spells. It’s all about playing with the other person’s mind and emotions to seek the right answers by putting forth questions strategically.
