The much awaited announcement has arrived finally. Master is all set to be released in theatres on January 13th. The 'Master' team took to their social media and made announcement.

Earlier yesterday, the Tamil Nadu Theatre Owners Association's head Tirupur Subramanian had also said the movie will be premiered in theatres on 13th January, though there wasn't any official confirmation from the makers' side then.

Media reports also suggested that Vijay had met the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, requesting him to allow 100 pc seating capacity for movies.  Speculations went around that the CM is likely to give a nod to Vijay's plea very soon.

Apparently, the decision of the full seating capacity for the movie is still awaited.

This Pongal is going to be a massive celebration for 'Thalapathy' Vijay's fans as the long-awaited film was looking at April release this year before coronavirus played spoilsport.

The U/A certified film also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Gouri Kishan and Shanthnu in pivotal roles.
