Noted celebrities from Kollywood and the small screen got together for a fund-raising event titled, Rhapsody’17 – A Cultural Extravaganza, recently in the city.

Organised by the Thenmozhi Memorial Trust, the evening was a celebration of music, dance, stand-up comedy and various other performing arts.

Director Balaji Mohan inaugurated the gala evening which was also attended by anchor Keerthi Shanthanu, RJ Balaji and singer Soundarya who treated the audience to an eclectic mix of soul-stirring and foot-tapping numbers. The proceeds of the event were donated for the benefit of underprivileged cancer patients.
