To keep the expectations on 'Thalapathy' Vijay starrer Master going and mollify tensions surrounding Coronavirus, the team released the single lyrical video of 'Polakattum Para Para'.

'Polakattum Para Para' is an Anirudh musical and a 'glorification' song of 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi, playing the antagonist in the movie. 

The song has a raw flavour of folk music added with rustic & fiery lyrics penned by Vishnu Edavan who also happens to be one of the assistant directors of Master. Voice is lent by ace composer Santhosh Narayanan. 

The film which eyed an Easter weekend release had to stall the plan for Coronavirus that looks reaching crescendo in India in the coming weeks.

If at all things get better in India, that too won't suffice for the film's release. Vijay has a huge market overseas, the team can't afford international business of the 'Bigil' star to take a hit.

But speculations are rife that the film may probably get released in the fag end of May or June 19, with Vijay's birthday on June 22.

However, Master team will keep us engaged and distracted from negativities through it all.
