The now-viral Instagramer, @gret_chen-chen, posted a photograph of herself sporting fake nose hair extensions online, which Instagramers immediately found unique, interesting and gross at the same time. The Instagram user reportedly glued fake eyelashes around her nostrils to create the look.  While many in the online community found the trend gross, some found it funny. 

Instagramer @christinereedla commented, “You’re awesome! I’ve been doing eyelash extensions for 17 years and was dying of laughter. Have to share!!” meanwhile another user, jora.bi, wrote, “You are just crazy! But it is original. Why people can put extensions only on the eyes??? Why?? Hahaha.” 

However, there were a few users who took to the trend and tried it on themselves. davisonvideoI posted a photograph of herself trying the new trend and wrote, “Couldn’t not try the @gret_chen_chen nose hair extension trend... I also added lip lashes. Tutorial soon!” We can only hope the weird trend dies down soon.
