Efron posted several photographs from his visit on his Instagram page, reports eonline.com.

"...Japan. Peace, love and happiness my friends. Thank you. Z," he wrote alongside one image, showing him giving the peace sign while walking on a crosswalk.

Another photograph shows him on the deck of a building, also flashing a peace sign.

"I love you," he wrote in Japanese.

The 28-year-old's moustachioed look is a throwback to the getup he has showcased in 2012 and 2014.
