What is the new collection all about?

The new collection is for the summer bride. It has a lot of really fresh colours like pastels, blues, peaches and beiges with prints and silver cut-outs. It’s a very elaborate line with fairly simple silhouettes. Inspired by the gardens of France, the clothes have a lot of floral elements and crystals.

What distinguishes a Falguni & Shane Peacock creation from the rest?

You can spot a Falguni & Shane Peacock outfit from miles away because it’s got a characteristic edgy glamour to it. Moreover, our garments boost an individual’s confidence so much so that they become unavoidable, something that we have also been told by many of our customers. It is also the best complement we can ever get. Apart from the fabric and the craft involved, the layer of confidence and individuality that they bring about is what makes our creations stand apart.

How has the fashion scene evolved in Chennai?

The fashion scene here has gone through a whole transformation with the influx of luxury brands, which was a rare commodity 10 years back. People are well-travelled and their understanding of fashion has gone a couple of notches higher now. They’re looking at experimenting and expressing with more western wear.
