The actor-producer had a major fallout with the previous director of the franchise Mysskin. He also posted a letter on his social media account on why he had to take up the film. “The sole purpose of the statement is not to tarnish one’s image but is only to make sure that nobody falls prey to such people,” Vishal wrote. In the letter, one can see that Mysskin had asked for the Hindi rights of the film and the rights for making the sequel and prequel to Thupparivalan 2. Above all, the director had demanded Vishal’s VFF Film Factory to pay his office rent until the film is completed. Talking to DTNext, Vishal said that he will be taking off to London soon to complete the remaining portions of Thupparivaalan 2. He also unveiled the first look of the film on Wednesday.
