While only recently we reported that the artiste will be seen playing an important role in Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Darbar, we hear that the actress is all set to make her debut in Malayalam soon.

Talking about it DT Next, Jeeva said, “I am happy to make my debut in Malayalam. However, the matters are in the initial stage.” The film is said to be directed by debutant Akash. We also hear that Antony Varghese of Jallikattu fame has been roped in to play the lead in the film. Ask her how things fell in place, she said, “I got to know Akash, when I was working as an assistant for a Malayalam film, Godha. He was recently in the city to finalise the composer of the film and that’s when I he confirmed my role in the film as well.”

Jeeva was last seen in Nayanthara’s horror film Airaa.
