Siddharth was last seen in Grugam in Telugu in 2017. The shoot of Ajay Bhupathi’s film is likely to begin in October. An official announcement regarding the entire cast and crew will be made soon.

This film will also be a comeback for Sharwanand in Tamil, whose last film was JK Ennum Nanbanin Vaazhkai in 2015. Mahasamudram was originally planned with Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Akkineni in lead roles.
