Now, we hear that the film will go on floors on September 10 and the pre-production works are going on in full swing.

The film is touted to be a complete rural entertainer, something on the lines of his previous films —- Rajini Murugan and Seema Raja. Sources say that the film will be high on action and veteran actor Rajkiran will play a pivotal role in the film. “Initially, Ponram approached Vijay Sethupathi to play the lead in this film. However, due to date issues, he couldn’t be a part of it. Sasikumar was impressed with the script and signed immediately. The female leads of the film are yet to be finalised.” the source adds. Major portions of the film will be shot in Chennai and interiors of Madurai.
