It’s been over two years since Vignesh Shivn made any official announcement on his directorial after Thaana Serndha Kootam in 2018. The latest is that the Naanum Rowdy Dhaan fame director has completed the script work of his next and will make an official announcement soon. However, the biggest surprise is that the film will have Nayanthara and Samantha sharing the screen space for the first time. A source in the know told DT Next, “After Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, Vignesh Shivn will collaborate with Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in a film yet again. Apart from them, Samantha too will be playing another heroine in the project. An official announcement on the project will be made prior to the shoot in April.” The source added that the film will be titled Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, which was originally planned by Vignesh Shivn immediately after Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. The director has decided to go ahead with this script after his film with Sivakarthikeyan that was to be bankrolled by Lyca Production has dropped due to budget constraints. Sivakarthikeyan in an interview to DT Next said that his film with Vignesh is on the cards and will happen with another production house.
