Natty to play a pivotal role in Siva’s next

Earlier, we have reported that Sivakarthikeyan is joining hands with his mentor-director Pandiraj for a project, which is tentatively titled SK16. An official announcement was also made that Anu Emmanuel of Thupparivalan fame and Aishwarya Rajesh will play the female leads in the film.

Now, we hear that cinematographer-turned-actor Natty has signed the project and has even begun shooting for the film. A source tells DT Next that Natty will be seen playing Aishwarya Rajesh’s romantic interest in the film and his role will be a crucial one. “Initially, the makers were in talks with some of the leading actors for the role. However, they felt Natty would do justice to the character and finalised him for the role.,” the source adds. Anu Emmanuel plays Sivakarthikeyan’s love interest in the film. SK 16 is touted to be a rural drama with a strong emotional connect. The film also includes stars like Archana, Bharathiraja, Samuthirakani and RK Suresh in pivotal roles. D Imman has been roped in as the composer for the film.
