We hear from reliable sources that the choreographer-turned-actor has been roped in to play a pivotal role in the film and has combination scenes with Vijay. It is worth noting that Nagendra had earlier shared screen space with Vijay in Ghilli, which released in 2004. A source says, “Nagandra joined the second schedule of the film in Karnataka. Major portions of the film will be shot in Shivamogga prison for the next 40 days.”  Produced by Xavier Britto, Thalapathy 64 has Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Shanthnu and Ramya VJ in important roles.
