The teaser of Keerthy Suresh’s Penguin was released on Monday by actors Trisha Krishnan, Samantha Akkineni, Taapsee Pannu, and Manju Warrier in an online launch organised by the makers.

Fans were left in awe by the intense first-look as the 92-second clip clocked nearly 2 lakh views within hours of its release.

Penguin’s teaser offered several gripping plot elements. The character portrayed by Keerthy Suresh is seen searching for her missing child and the story is set in a hill station.Another interesting part was the appearance of a mysterious character in a forest, wearing a face mask.

Touted as a psychological thriller, Penguin is directed by Eashvar Karthic and produced by Karthik Subbaraj’s Stone Bench Films and S Sudhan of Passion Studios Production with music by Santhosh Narayanan.
