The latest reports suggest that the actor has been approached to play the lead in the Tamil remake of hit Hindi film, Vicky Donor. Directed by Shoojit Sircar, the film had Aysuhmann Khurrana and Yami Gautham in the lead roles.

Screenscene Productions has bought the remake rights of the film a year ago and has even roped in Krishna Marimuthu to helm the project. A source says, “It’s true that Harish Kalyan has agreed to reprise Ayushmann Kurrana’s role from the original. However, he is yet to sign on the official agreement.”

Vicky Donor is about an unemployed youngeter, who is urged by a fertility sexpert to make better use of his ‘wasted’ sperms. He turns this into a ‘productive’ idea, until it becomes the origin of more troubles. Meanwhile, Harish Kalyan is also shooting for another film titled Dhanusu Raasi Neyargale, directed by Sanjay Bharathi.
