First look poster of Siva’s next revealed

While there are speculations that Sivakarthiyan’s upcoming film with director Pandiraj will be titled after MGR’s hit film Enga Veetu Pillai, the makers have now announced that it has been titled Namma Veetu Pillai.

The first look poster, which was revealed on Monday, also said that NVP will hit the screens in September. The actor was seen holding a sledgehammer in the poster, with several men in the backdrop running towards him. Touted to be a complete family entertainer, the film also features Aishwarya Rajesh and Anu Emmanuel in the female leads.


Pandiraj earlier said in an interview that the script was initially written for Suriya. However, as the latter got busy with other commitments, he decided to proceed with the film with Sivakarthikeyan in the lead. Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan is also working on a project titled Hero, directed by PS Mithran of Irumbu Thirai fame.
