It’s been almost four months since we reported that actor Madhavan and Anushka are coming together after 12 years for a horror thriller titled Silence. The writer and producer of the film, Kona Venkat, also announced that it will be a Hollywood crossover project that would star many international artists, too.

The director of the film, Hemant Madhukar, has finally revealed on social media that the shoot of the film had begun on Friday with a formal pooja. Sources tell us that portions involving Anushka and supporting actors are currently being canned at Hyderabad. Madhavan will join the sets only after he completes his portions for his ambitious project, Rocketry. Popular Hollywood actor Michael Madsen will make his debut in Indian cinema with this venture, as the film will be releasing in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.  “Major part of the film will be shot in the US,” the source adds. Anushka Shetty was last seen in the Telugu horror film Baagamathie, which hit the screens in 2018.
