Despite not signing a Tamil movie in the last three years, the actress still has a loyal fan following across Tamil Nadu. The latest for Anupama’s fans is that she has been roped in to play the female lead in Atharvaa Murali’s next to be helmed by R Kannan.

A source close to film’s unit told DT Next, “Apart from Atharvaa and Anupama, the film will have dialogues by Kabilan Vairamuthu. The untitled project will go on floors from July 15. The team hasn’t confirmed the music director yet. But Shanmuga Sundaram, who handled the cinematography for 96 will be operating the camera for this film.” This film will be Atharvaa’s second collaboration with R Kannan after Boomerang which released earlier this year and opened to mixed reviews.
