Anjali roped in for a fantasy comedy

Actress Anjali, who was last seen in Mammootty’s critically-acclaimed film, Peranbu, is all set to shoot for a fantasy-comedy, which will feature Yogi Babu and television artiste Ramar in full-length role. Directed by Krishnan Jayaraj, the film will be bankrolled by KS Sinish under his banner, The Soldiers Factory, which had earlier directed Balloon.

Producer Sinish says, “The protagonist’s character in this film is sketched with certain traits that would instantly gain the attention of the audience. I am sure it will be hilarious fantasy entertainer that will be unique and interesting. As I have earlier worked with Anjali, I am confident that she would pull off this role with ease. When we narrated the script, she immediately agreed to be a part of it.” He adds, “Though Yogi Babu is part of many films, this one will portray him in a different shade.” Composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar, the film is likely to go on floors in a few days.


Meanwhile, Anjali is also waiting for the release of Sasikumar-Samuthirakani’s Naadodigal 2.
