A source close to the team reveals that Anjali has agreed to portray her role on screen and she has already started working on the screenplay along with the director. “Though its a biopic, the film will have a lot of commercial elements. It’s about Anjali’s life as a boy and later as a girl. An official announcement regarding the title and the cast will be announced in the first week of December,” the source adds.

The makers are planning to release the film in Tamil and Malayalam. It is also worth noting that Anjali Ameer was part of Bigg Boss season 1 in Malayalam and garnered a huge fan base.
