Anirudh goes to Bollywood, to compose music for Jersey Hindi remake

Anirudh Ravichander has been the go-to-guy for leading stars in the south when it comes to composing music for the film.

The composer is now back in Bollywood (composed a song in David’s Hindi version) to score music for the Hindi remake of Jersey that had Nani playing the lead in the original. The film that will have Shahid Kapoor in the remake was initially rumoured to have Sachet-Parampara duo as the composers. However, the director of the film Gowtam Tinnanuri strongly believed that it is Anirudh, who can create the magic of the original as background music is one of the high points of the film.

Meanwhile the composer is busy with as many has half a dozen projects on hand that includes Beast, Vikram, Don, Indian 2, Thiruchitrambalam, and Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal.
