Akshara to make her digital debut

Akshara Haasan garnered rave response for her performance in Vikram’s Kadaram Kondaan, which was directed by Rajesh M Selva and produced by her father Kamal Haasan. Now, it looks like, her project is not a feature film but a web series. The actress will be seen playing the lead in a series titled Fingertip and will be a ZEE5 original.

Directed by debutant Shivakar, the series will start to premiere from August 21 in the OTT platform. Sources say that Fingertip is an intriguing techno-thriller, that will make the audience realise how smartphones can turn their lives upside down. The trailer of the series was recently released and it was an instant hit among her fans. Actors like Aswhin Kakumanu, Sunainaa and Gayathrie are also a part of the project. What’s more interesting is that, director Vishnu Vardhan, who is known for making films like Billa, Aarambam and Arindhum Ariyamalum, has bankrolled this series.
