Ajith’s next a political film?

Even before the release of Ajith’s Nerkonda Paarvai, there was an announcement that the director of the film, H Vinoth, will be collaborating with the actor for the second time. Speculation was also that Ajith will be seen playing a cop and the film is slated to release in April 2020.

Now, we hear from reliable sources that his 60th film will not be a cop story but has a strong political connection. A source in the know of things says that Ajith will be seen playing the role of a social activist in the film. “It has an intriguing storyline with strong political dialogues. Vinoth narrated two scripts to him and Ajith zeroed in on this,” the source adds. While other cast and crew are yet to be finalised, this project, too, will be bankrolled by Boney Kapoor, who is producing Nerkonda Paarvai. The film will go on floors post the release of Nerkonda Paarvai, the official remake of hit Hindi film, Pink.
