Aishwarya Lekshmi’s next is a women-centric film

Actress Aishwarya Lekshmi, who is making her debut in Tamil with Dhanush-Karthik Subbaraj’s upcoming film, has signed her next.

The actress has been roped in to play the lead in a Malayalam film, directed by Akhil Anil Kumar of Avittam - The Good Day of Unnikuttan fame. Martin Prakkat, who has directed many blockbusters in Malayalam, will be bankrolling the project. According to reports, we hear that the film will be a female-centric one with a lot of commercial elements in it. The actress too hinted about the project on her instagram page by posting a ‘casting call’ poster. She wrote, “My next is with a great team, and I want You to be with me on this journey.. to make it even Greater… And trust me when I say Casting calls can be life-changing.” (SIC) The actress is also part of Mani Ratnam’s much-awaited film, Ponniyin Selvan.
