CHENNAI: In a surprising turn of events, a conversation between a divorced woman and her wedding photographer has gone viral on social media platforms.

The woman, whose identity remains undisclosed, reached out to the photographer, demanding a refund for the wedding pictures, arguing that they had become useless due to the failure of her marriage. Initially dismissing it as a prank, the photographer eventually realized the woman's demand was genuine. Despite being irrational, the woman continued with a threat to take legal action against the photographer.

The text-message discussion drew the attention of online users after Twitter user Lance Romeo Photography (@LanceRomeo) uploaded the screenshots on his account. The conversation quickly gained 406K views, 1,627 likes, 529 retweets and 398 comments - generating a wave of opinions and debates about the significance of wedding photographs.

As the tweet thread continued, netizens were told that both the lawyer and the ex-husband were particularly embarrassed on behalf of the woman.

Completely taken aback by the woman’s ludicrous demand, netizens sympathized with Lance asking him to “Please put the no refund or return on your services 😂😂. Though you didn't need to do this to start with because you didn't think anyone would want a refund 4 years later because they divorced? 😂😂”

Another user commended Lance’s professionalism while dealing with unreasonable clients such as these saying, “I love how professional you were with your answers😂😂. But it was a prank, right? Cause wow! This is so wild😂😂. I have a friend that got divorced even before her wedding pics came and she didn’t even ask for a refund, 'cause that is just not how it works!”
