CHENNAI: We are all fascinated by films based on volcanoes and what happens when it erupts, here is a viral video shared by a Twitter user that shows us a man dropping a 30-kilogram bundle of organic waste on a lava lake.

The video was shared by a user named @historyinmemes on the platform with the caption, "Awakening a volcano by throwing a rock" (sic)

The video demonstrates an experiment involving a bundle of organic waste in an active volcano in Ethiopia, Erta Ale, to simulate what happens if a human falls into it. The video shows that the first layer of solidified ash that forms over the molten lava breaks and submerges the organic matter as it enters the lava lake. Then, the lava fountain bubbles are seen and they grow in response to the breakage.
