CHENNAI: A zoo employee in Thailand dressed up himself as an eight-foot-tall ostrich and roamed around the place during a training escape drill.

It was reported that the member was part of the drill designed to ensure the animal was unable to escape its enclosure, if any real-world situation ever arises in future in the Chiang Mai zoo.

In the drill, the person roamed around the place chased by other employees, while wearing the flightless bird costume and was pinned down with a fishing net.

The zoo posted pictures of the same with a detailed caption in Thai that explains that other staff members and the veterinarianshad to coax the mand dressed as a bird to return to its enclosure with the purpose of the drill.
