Owners can collect vehicles from Metro stations before Oct 28: CMRL

As per CMRL, the department has found more than 120 unattended vehicles parked at stations since the 2020 lockdown.

CHENNAI: The Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has urged owners to retrieve their vehicles from respective Metro stations before October 28, which has been left abandoned since pandemic-induced lockdown.

As per CMRL, the department has found more than 120 unattended vehicles parked at stations since the 2020 lockdown. The owners have been informed to pay the parking charges and submit the proof of vehicle ownership at the concerned Metro station parking lot, before October 28.

Vehicles not retrieved after the specified date will be handed over to the nearby police station, noted CMRL.
