Sources said that Padappai Ravi, Bhaskar and Vinoth were among those detained. It is said Kandhan was killed by a co-accused in connection with the murder of ‘Pallu’ Raj in Pallikaranai in 2009, in which Kandhan was the prime accused. “The other accused in the case colluded with the opposite gang and murdered Kandhan,” said the source.
