Staff help juvenile escape home, held

According to police, a juvenile inmate Sarath Raj would frequently escape from the home and would be caught later. Following repeated production of Sarath before the Juvenile Justice Board Judge Dhanalakshmi, she asked the police to enquire how he was able to escape from the prison. 

Police, with the help of a secret surveillance cameras, found out that that he was being helped by the four staff members who bent the prison bars and let Sarath out. 

On interrogation, Sarath revealed that that he used to burgle houses and the four were collecting Rs 10,000 each. Following the confession of Sarath, police arrested the four — Rajavelu, Balasubramanian, Suresh and Kuppusamy.
