Karthikeyan back as Chennai Corporation Commissioner

Commissioner of archaeology Dr D Karthikeyan will take over as the new civic commissioner. He had run the show in Ripon Buildings a few years ago before being posted to Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board. Chandramohan will take over from R Venkatesan who has been holding it as an additional charge. 

According to an official release, Dindigul district collector TN Hariharan has been transferred to Coimbatore, replacing Archana Patnaik, who has been put on compulsory wait. Similarly, Director of Sericulture V Santha has been shifted to Tamil Nadu Corporation for Development of Women, where she will replace incumbent Managing Director V Amuthavalli. General Manager of Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation has been transferred and posted as District Revenue Officer of Dindigul.
