French tech to add sheen to Pondy beach

Talking to newspersons after meeting the French Ambassador-designate Alexander Ziegler who made a courtesy call on the Chief Minister, he said that he already had a discussion with Ziegler in New Delhi. He said Puducherry was under the French regime for quite a long period and the Puducherry government and people maintained a cordial relationship with France, which  was helping the development of Puducherry in many ways. The Chief Minister said the Oulgret municipality was identified for the smart city project and sent to the Union government. But the Union Urban Development Ministry had not accepted the proposal.
