Class 12: Tough Zoology part may reduce centums in Biology

Students, who wrote the exam on Monday, said that three and 10-mark questions in Zoology section were tough as they had not anticipated some of them. Rakesh, a class 12 student, said that Botany part in the Biology question paper was easy. 

However, he found Zoology paper a little difficult as some of the questions weren’t featured in previous year exams. “Some of the five-mark questions in Botany too were tweaked, which consumed more time for us to answer,” he said.

Unexpected question 

Students cite question number 36 in Zoology ‘Write an essay on the environmental impacts of energy sources’ as an unexpected one. A student said that they expected a question on energy crisis and not on energy sources. 

The number of centums in Biology may drop this year taking the difficulty in Zoology into consideration. David Raja, a Zoology teacher said that all questions were asked from the book and those students who had prepared well would score more marks but for those who had studied questions from previous year exams might feel the exam tough.
