World Hindi Diwas celebrated at Bank of Baroda

Bank of Baroda recently celebrated Vishwa Hindi Diwas in Chennai at its Zonal Office, Mylapore

On the occasion, P. Narsimha Rao, General Manager (Tamil Nadu and Kerala Zone) said, “Conversing with others in their own language establishes better connect. India being a multilingual country, people should try to learn more and more languages to enjoy the diversity and reach out to masses.” 

Dr K.Ananthi, Professor and Head (Hindi Department), Shri Krishnawamy College for Women and chief guest at the occasion said in her keynote address, “It is easy to learn Hindi, Tamil or any other language if the intricacies in that language are understood and appreciated.” 

Bank of Baroda had conducted various competitions to commemorate the occasion and around 35 winners were felicitated in the function. Hindi Noting Desk Calendar 2016 was released by P.Narsimha Rao.
