Bollywood actor Ajaz Khan has posted a photo of a wounded young man on his Twitter, claiming that the man named Abu Kamil is a teacher and unknown people attacked him because he was a Muslim. Prashanth Patel posted a response to the actor’s claim, stating that the actor is spreading false information.
According to Prashanth Patel, the man in the photo has been beaten up by the villagers because he assaulted a woman. Over 6,000 people have retweeted his claim. On examining the veracity of both their posts, both have been found to be fake.

The true story is Abu Kamil runs a training center in Patna. He was abducted by a gang of thieves on September 22, when he was returning home to Hajipur. The robbers attacked him and extorted money from him. They threw him away from a running car, after extorting his valuables. The villagers, who saw Abu Kamil with blood and injuries attacked him believing to be a thief. The police then rushed to the spot, rescued him and hospitalized him.
It is thus confirmed that the news spread on this video is fake. It is better to avoid sharing unknown information on social media without verifying the actual truth behind it.
