The complainant, Vidja, a Sri Lankan settled in Germany, had written to the Prime Minister Office and the President that the actor received Rs 70.40 lakh claiming financial struggle due to the lockdown. She also moved the court to register a case against him. The police summoned the actor on Tuesday for an inquiry. He reached the city police commissionerate in the evening and was interrogated for about three hours, according to officials. A senior official told DT Next that no case has been registered against the actor and that it was just an inquiry.
