The politically loaded statement by Alagiri, targeting his brother MK Stalin stating that he will prevent Stalin from becoming the Chief Minister is going viral with the ruling AIADMK men. The party leadership had also instructed their poll managers to follow the political intelligence and the developments related to Alagiri.
The AIADMK party workers are also spreading a 22-second video of the former Madurai strongman reiterating “that Stalin can never become the CM of Tamil Nadu. The party IT wing are also working overtime spreading the political content of Alagiri through memes and visuals. The party organs Namadhu Amma and News J carried back to back news analysis and the speculation about DMK breaking into factions.
Ministers D Jayakumar, Sellur K Raju, Kadambur Raju and Rajenthra Bhalaji are taking turns reaching out to the party workers to reiterate what Alagiri has spoken about Stalin. “DMK will break into factions and the AIADMK will continue to rule,” Cooperatives Minister Sellur K Raju told his supporters in Madurai advising the party men to keep Alagiri as a topic during their election campaign.
“Alagiri has only reiterated the thoughts of AIADMK leaders and he has subscribed to our views on Stalin. We are following the developments related to him. And our next course of the campaign will be based on Alagiri’s decision,” opined AIADMK IT wing secretary Aspire Swaminathan.
At the end of the day, both Alagiri and Stalin are brothers and there are possibilities for the Karunanidhi family to unite. So, we will cautiously react based on the political developments caused by Alagiri, Swaminathan added.
“Campaigning against the DMK first family is something ingrained in our DNA and Alagiri has exposed the weak leadership of Stalin in his speech. Besides our campaign against DMK, we are now using the latest videos of Alagiri exposing Stalin and it is a hit with voters,” claimed AIADMK functionary P Venkatesan of Egmore.
