Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the People’s Gram Sabha meeting in his Assembly segment, Nehru said that the BJP has been eying both West Bengal and Tamil Nadu to make their presence in these states and with that intention, BJP leader and Home Minister Amit Shah has scheduled to visit Tamil Nadu in a few days. Despite all efforts of the BJP and the plans of Amit Shah, the victory of DMK is certain and his plans will never have any impact in the state, he said.
Stating that, even if there be a third front in the state, the DMK will certainly emerge as the winner as the people have decided to choose the DMK, Nehru said.
On a query about seat allocations, Nehru said that the party president Stalin will decide on it and the decision on the selection of the symbols for friendly parties would also be decided by the president. Meanwhile, Nehru refused to respond to any query about MK Alagiri and his recent statement.
