Condemning the CM for giving up on students who had not paid their exam fees due to pandemic distress, he said Palaniswami who had refused to join a few other states in moving the SC against holding the NEET and who failed to adopt a resolution scrapping final semester exams after convening the state disaster management authority, had issued a ‘biased’ order ignoringstudents who did not pay their exam fees.
The DMK president, also the Opposition Leader, said the lockdown was enforced on March 24 and poor and middle class students had struggled to pay the exams fees. Reports suggested that about 70% of students had not paid their exams fees and some colleges had even moved the HC owing to their inability to pay exam fees to Anna University, Stalin said the CM has made the decision based on the recommendation of high-level committee which had proposed exemption only for students who had paid fees.
Rich tribute paid to Rahman Khan

Stalin, quoting one of his witty remarks in the state Assembly during MGR’s regime, Stalin quoted Khan as asking what he (CM) would do with a member of his Cabinet who has the habit of drinking, during a debate on enforcement of prohibition.
