VCK leader Thol Thirumavalavan on Sunday said that actor Rajinikanth is under some pressure and so he has reversed his statement on BJP trying to paint him with saffron hue.
Recently, Rajinikanth created a controversy by criticising the BJP by saying that the party is trying to paint saffron on him and Thiruvalluvar and the BJP will not succeed in both the cases. Shortly, after the statement he addressed the media again and reversed his stand.
The stand of Rajinikanth was criticised by politicians and public in social media and BJP was attributed for his second statement.
When asked about Rajinikanth’s statement that there is political vacuum in the state, Thirumavalavan replied that he does not agree to his political vacuum in the state statement.
Vacuum exists, says BJP leader
Meanwhile, former union minister Pon Radhakrishnan supported the statement of Rajinikanth that there is political vacuum in the state. “I have already informed Rajinikanth that there is political vacuum in the state and he has also expressed the same,” said Radhakrishnan, while addressing the media, at party headquarters in Chennai.
He also said that two late chief ministers, J Jayalalithaa and M Karunanidhi, who were great leaders are not with us now.
“Even though they were not part of the BJP they were great leaders and no doubt that their death has created a political vacuum in the state,” said Pon Radhakrishnan.
