Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam, who will go on an official trip to the USA, will receive ‘International Rising Star of the Year- Asia award’ at the Global Community Oscars Award function organised by American Multi-Ethnic Coalition Inc in Chicago, on November 10.
On November 10, Panneerselvam will receive the ‘International Rising Star of the year- Asia Award’ at the Global Community Oscars Award, 2019, in Chicago.
After a day of rest, Panneerselvam will meet the Governor of Illinois, Mayor of Chicago and other important dignitaries, on November 12. On the same day he will also participate in the Round Table Conference to be conducted jointly by Global Community Oscars, Indian American Business Coalition and American Tamil Entrepreneurs’
On November 13, Panneerselvam will visit Washington DC where he will meet members of Indian American Business Coalition, USA and American Multi Ethnic Coalition Inc. On November 14, he will visit Houston to participate in programmes to be organised by Tamil associations and will hold meeting with entrepreneurs to invite them to invest in Tamil Nadu.
On November 15, he will inaugurate Electronics Donor Board attached to Tamil Chair in Houston University. On November 16, he will participate in the programme organised by Indian American Community and Tamil Associations and will return to Tamil Nadu on November 17.
Finance Secretary S Krishnan will accompany Panneerselvam in his official trip. The visit follows the successful trip of Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami, to the USA, UK and Dubai to woo investors in September.
