DMK president MK Stalin on Wednesday said the ruling AIADMK was enacting a drama on techie Subashree’s hoarding death case. Stalin, who visited the family of deceased techie near here, told reporters that, they can arrest the accused AIADMK functionary in a second if they wanted to. But they are enacting a drama.
Stalin also handed over a cheque for Rs 5 lakh to the family on behalf of his party.
Later his son and DMK youth wing secretary Udhayanidhi Stalin issued a statement on the issue, advising his cadre to be a role model for the rest in eliminating the hoarding culture.
“DMK youth wing should set an example to the rest in eliminating banners,” Udhayanidhi said. “That would be the fitting consolation to the parents of Subashree,” he added, thanking the Kancheerpuram (East) secretary TM Anbarasan and Pallavaram MLA E Karunanidhi for assisting the family in completing the formalities after her demise.
